Felting is a fun fiber art, it can be as detailed or as whimsical as you want to make it. For wet or dry felting, you need a variety of fibers colors, types and textures. Check out our very affordable ‘Pounders’ for just such a deal. Our batts are generally 50/50 alpaca/icelandic dyed or natural fiber. Sizes/colors vary.

Prefelts are batts that have been needle felted to start the felting process. Some have added color, firestar, or curls to make them unique and colorful.

Felting batts are mainly alpaca and Icelandic wool. Created to be the base of your unique project, our batts are soft with minimal vegetable matter. Soft and easy to use, I know some people who even spin them.

Packaged in hand dyed or natural color most batts measure at LEAST 18 x 24 with most being 20 x 30. Weighting from 6 to 9 ounces, the folds are separated with tissue paper to prevent it from felting to itself.

Our Prefelts are like slightly felted fabric. We use our needle felting machine to start the felting process, then we add accents and run them through the needle felting machine again to stabilize them.
