BlackWater Treasures Farm

Our farm is a small family operation on 80 acres of pasture and woods in Odessa, Missouri. We specialize in Icelandic Sheep and Alpaca fiber males, with a few other critters thrown in for a good mix of fibery fun.

Our flocks:

Our girls and boys live as naturally as possible. They have access to natural grass pasture at all times.  We supplement their natural diet with high-quality hay, salt and minerals to ensure that all of their nutritional needs are met. We follow humane vet practices to cause as little stress as possible.

We value the happiness of all our animal friends and make every effort to help them enjoy long happy healthy lives. We strive to meet the ‘Organic’ definition of farming, only using antibiotics if there is no other choice. De–worming is done naturally with Garlic, DE, herbs and pasture rotation.

So please take a tour of our farm and enjoy all our critters.
